The Mattress Recycling Council (MRC) is a nonprofit organization formed by the mattress industry to operate recycling programs in states that have passed mattress recycling laws.

Operating Statewide in California,
Connecticut, Oregon and Rhode Island.

A mandatory Mattress Stewardship Council charge is collected at the time of mattress purchase in some states. CA ($16.00), CT ($16.00), OR ($22.50) and RI ($20.50)
